# Event & Community Kit for Lovable

Made by Žarko Antanasković (zarkoantanaskovic.com), from running monthly practitioner meetups in Belgrade. Free to use.

The test for every screen: can a stranger decide in 10 seconds whether to come, and sign up in 30?

## 1. Page structure (in this order)
1. **Header block**: event name, one-line promise ("Practitioners talk shop, no pitches"), date, time, city, venue, and one primary button: "Save my spot".
2. **Who it's for**: 3 short lines naming the audience. Also say who it is NOT for.
3. **Agenda**: a time-stamped list. Keep it honest: doors, talks, open floor, drinks.
4. **Speakers**: photo, name, role, one-line talk title. Never invent speakers; leave a "Speakers announced soon" state.
5. **Format rules**: duration, language, if it's recorded, Chatham House rule if relevant.
6. **Past editions**: 3-6 photos and 1-2 numbers (attendees, editions).
7. **Sign-up form**: name, email, organization, role (select), "What do you want to hear about?" (optional). Nothing else.
8. **Venue and map link**, FAQ (max 5), contact.

## 2. Recurring formats
- Model editions, not one event: `events` table with `edition_number`, `date`, `status` (upcoming, live, past).
- The home page always shows the next upcoming edition; past ones become recap pages.
- Each edition gets its own URL (`/events/edition-12`) with its own title, description and share image.

## 3. Sign-up and reminders
- Store RSVPs in the backend with a unique (event, email) pair so people can't sign up twice.
- Send a confirmation email right away, a reminder 24 hours before, and a "slides and photos" email after.
- Show a live spots-left counter only when capacity is real.
- Admin view: RSVP list with export to CSV, check-in toggle on the day.

## 4. Recap page (after the event)
- 3 key takeaways, photo gallery, speaker slides, attendance number, link to the next edition.
- Recaps are content: they rank in search and give you something to post.

## 5. Copy rules
- Concrete over hype: "40 security people, one room, 2 hours" beats "The ultimate cyber experience".
- One call to action per screen.
- Dates written in full: "Thursday, 16 October, 18:00".

## 6. Don'ts
- No countdown timers, no fake "only 3 spots left", no stock photos of crowds.
- Don't ask for phone numbers unless you will actually call.
